What do I do? I’m an inspirational speaker, workshop fascinator, minister

My greatest achievement is getting my first book published mainstream

My biggest lesson? One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that life came deal you some devastating blows but with faith and patience one can recover.

My mission: I have passion to lead people to a clear and precise understanding of how life challenges can become one’s ultimate source of victory by sharing solid, biblical principles that will enable people to find a way out of every trial so they can reach their God given potential.

One word that describes me: Trustworthy

How do I balance industry? With ministry?

I’ve learned in the writing industry to devote quality time every day to writing and or marketing my book. I try to evaluate how my time is spent and make sure I’m doing the things that will be productive.

With the ministry: I have learned over the years never to spread myself thin. I bring balance by only being in one ministry in the church. I can be more effective when I can devote the time, energy and commitment into that particular ministry that has my complete attention.

Name a person that has inspired me & Why

The person that has inspired me most is my mom. I saw her as a strong women who fought to make life better for my siblings and me by her audacity to believe that we desired the best in life even with her limited resources.

The best book to inspire me?

One of my best books that have inspired me is T.D. Jakes “God leading lady”. I enjoy this book because it reveals the heart of God and how He sees His daughters.

What is my ultimate publishing goal? Besides becoming a best selling author of several inspirational books my ultimate publishing goal would be to write for Essence magazine.

What is my greatest strength? I would say that articulating words either vocally or written. I believe I am a good communicator.

What do you really love? Besides Jesus, nothing. There are things that I have a strong passion for such as writing, preaching and speaking.

Name 3 people I would love to invite to a dinner party?

1. Michele Obama
2. Tyler Perry
3. Maya Angelo

How do I relax?

The first thing I do when I come home is I light candles and once I’ve settled down I’ll pop in a movie and get relaxed on the couch.

The best site on the web? Some of the best sites on the web are those that help market and promote books. Sites that provide new authors such as me exposure are sites I tend to be drawn towards.

The blog I most read is writtenvoicesblog.com

What’s next for me?

I am currently writing my second inspirational book “Completely Whole “. I’ll be launching writer’s workshops to help assist other inspirational writers, authors and poets.
